Chris Burke is an English-Irish writer and journalist, whose debut poetry collection ‘The Noise of Everything at Once’ was published by Happy House Books in January 2017. Born in London, he grew up in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, and studied History at the University of Bristol, before several years travelling around Europe.

He has written and consulted on screenplays for film and television, as well as writing poetry and short fiction. He won the second prize in the 2020 Gregory O’Donoghue International Poetry Competition and has featured on the UK National Poetry Competition longlist, with work appearing in publications including Antiphon, the French Literary Review, Snakeskin, Prole, the Richmond Review and Monkey Kettle. He currently resides in Paris, France.
